Hello everyone. I know I have not posted in some time. There are many reasons for this, and one of those reasons is that I’ve finally finished making a game! It only took me four years and multiple stalled projects, but it happened.
The game is called HURTING ZONE, and it is playable on the ZX Spectrum microcomputer. This means you play it in a Spectrum emulator, and I was informed last night by friend of the site Rudie, can also be played on a MiSTer with a Spectrum core. A 20-level journey where you throw pills at mutants in an attempt to fix a sick world that is hostile towards you. Much like myself, it is hard, but fun. Hopefully you will enjoy playing the game, or at least enjoy looking at it.
You would think I would take the time post-release to take a break. I have, sort of. But you better believe I was eyeing that Game Boy development tool, thinking that it’s time I finish that second GB game I’ve had sitting in stasis for a long time. Don’t expect a release date on that one anytime soon, by the way.
As far as my absence goes, I’ll have something to say about that pretty soon, but I’d like to keep my negative feelings away from a post where I remind people that yes, I am a game developer! That being said, go play my game and come back here for me to write stuff again hopefully.
